Red Leggings

One of the trends that have swept the entire fashion world during the last few seasons is the act of wearing colored tights. Gone were the days when only black tights are worn outside the house. Today, fashion has reinforced that colored tights are in and the trend is definitely here to stay. But there is a problem with this trend. And that problem is in the styling. A lot of people would want to wear a pair of colored tights but they do not know what to wear them with and where to wear them! One of the hardest colors to pull off is the color red. Red is a very bold and warm color. But women should not be scared on wearing red leggings because they can definitely look great especially if they paired them with the right kind and color of clothes. There are a lot of red colored tights available in different fashion and retail stores today. The shades can also vary depending on the brand or manufacturer. Some tend to be darker, almost maroon while others are very bright and striking. One of the most important rules in wearing colored tights is never ever choose to wear a dress that is the same color or shade as your tights. A monochromatic outfit does not work very well with tights since the tights will cover all of your legs and you will end up having a single color from your neck down to your shoes. This rule should be applied when wearing red leggings. One way to wear red colored tights without looking like a fool on the streets is pairing it with a black mini dress. Mini dresses are always a hit when paired with colored tights. The combination of red and black is very appealing to the eyes and black goes very well with bright colors.

Red colored tights can also be worn with a plain white flowy dress with the length above the knee. When this ensemble is worn, you can wear a thin black shiny belt around your waist and you can also wear a pair of black pumps for the shoes. You can also accessorize it with a long chain gold necklace and a cute red headband. If you are wearing a black dress with your red leggings, you can wear black boots with it and you can also finish the look with a leopard- print bag. The leopard bag will take the attention away from the tights and it also related well with the black dress. There are designers who let their models walk the runway with red tights and red shoes. This might work for some but this is very risky.

Red colored tights would also look good with black and white striped dress shirt. If you want to try other patterns aside from plain black and white dresses, you can wear a plaid dress with your red tights. But the trick here is you choose a plaid color where red is present but is not the dominant color. Having the red in the plaid dress will tie the whole look together. Wear them with knee high boots and a black leather bag. Gold bracelets and a pair of pearl earrings will finish the look. Red leggings also look very nice with the color gray. You can wear red tights with a gray pencil skirt and a white button-up blouse. For a more casual look, red tights can be worn with a pair of washed up short jeans, a white shirt and a black leather jacket.
